This 5 Centavos was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1949-1969. It was printed by Security Banknote Company. The color of this note is light red which was printed on a light tan background.
It was signed by E.Quirino as President of the Philippines and M.Quaderno as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 400 Million notes printed.
