This Five Pesos was issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in 1985-present.. It was printed by Security Printing Plant, Philippines. The front of this note shows the portrait of Emilio Aguinaldo near center. The back of this note shows the declaration of the Philippine Independence on June 12, 1898 in Kawit, Cavite. The color of this note is green.
It was signed by Ferdinand Marcos as President of the Philippines and J.B.Fernandez as Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 53 Million notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from A000001-BE1000000.
