100 Pesos Pilipino Series



This One Hundred Pesos was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1969-1973. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London. The front of this note shows the portrait of Manuel Roxas at the left side. The back of this note shows the Old Central Bank Building. The color of this note is purple.

It was signed by Ferdinand Marcos as President of the Philippines and A.Calalang as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 50,000 notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from A000001-A050000.
