This Ten Pesos was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1974-1985. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London. The front of this note shows the portrait of Apolinario Mabini at the left side. The back of this note shows the Barasoain Church. This note is with an overprint of Ferdinand E. Marcos inauguration in June 30, 1981.The color of this note is brown.
It was signed by Ferdinand Marcos as President of the Philippines and Jaime Laya as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 20 Million notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from QF000001-RA1000000.
