The front of this note shows the portraits of Fathers Burgos, Gomez and Zamora at the left side. The back of this note shows the Urdaneta and Legazpi Monument, and the Philippine Flag. The color of the obverse of this note is black which was printed on a light red & tan background. While the reverse is brown in color.

It was signed by Carlos Garcia as President of the Philippines and Andres V. Castillo as Acting Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 10 Million notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from BD 500,001- BP 500,000.
