100 Pesos ABL Series



This One Hundred Pesos was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1974-1985. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London. The front of this note shows the portrait of Manuel Roxas at the left side. The back of this note shows the New Central Bank Complex. The color of this note is purple.

It was signed by Ferdinand Marcos as President of the Philippines and J.B.Fernandez as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 222 Million notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from NC000001-XH1000000.

50 Pesos ABL Series with overprint of Osmena Centennial


This Fifty Pesos was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1974-1985. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London. The front of this note shows the portrait of Sergio Osmena at the left side. The back of this note shows the Old Legislative Building which is now the National Museum. The color of this note is red.

It was signed by Ferdinand Marcos as President of the Philippines and G.S.Licaros as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 2 Million notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from FW000001-FX1000000.

Take note of the black circular overprint at left for centennial of birth of President Sergio Osmena -1878-1978.

50 Pesos ABL Series



This Fifty Pesos was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1974-1985. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London. The front of this note shows the portrait of Sergio Osmena at the left side. The back of this note shows the Old Legislative Building which is now the National Museum. The color of this note is red.
