This half Peso was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1949-1969. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London. The color of this note is green which was printed on a cream background.
It was signed by Carlos Garcia as President of the Philippines and M.Quaderno as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 68,715,000 notes printed.
