100 Pesos English Series Elpidio Quirino - Cuaderno

This One Hundred Pesos banknote was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1949-1969. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue Company, Limited, London. The front of this note shows the portrait of Tandang Sora at the left side. The back of this note shows a vignette of Regimental Flags, and rows of veterans in the foreground The color of the obverse of this note is black which was printed on a gold background. While the reverse is yellow in color.

It was signed by Elpidio Quirino as President of the Philippines and M.Cuaderno as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 100,000 notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from A 000,001- A 100,000.
