10 Pesos Pilipino Series 1972 Marcos-Licaros


This Ten Pesos was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1969-1973. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London. The front of this note shows the portrait of Apolinario Mabini at the left side. The back of this note shows the Barasoain Church. The color of this note is brown.

It was signed by Ferdinand Marcos as President of the Philippines and G.S.Licaros as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 1.75 Million notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from AB000001-AC750000.

This Ten Pesos was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1969-1973. It was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London. The front of this note shows the portrait of Apolinario Mabini at the left side. The back of this note shows the Barasoain Church. The color of this note is brown.

The front of this note shows the portrait of Jose Rizal at the left side. The back of this note shows the scene of Emilio Aguinaldo’s Independence Declaration on June 12, 1898. The color of this note is blue.

It was signed by Ferdinand Marcos as President of the Philippines and A.Calalang as Governor of the Central Bank. According to Guy N. Davis, in his book entitled: Collecting Banknotes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (1988), there were 169 Million notes printed. This note belongs to the Serial Numbers from A000001-GA1000000.

This medal was issued in commemoration of the 75th Year Anniversary of Philippine National Bank.

This is a 50 pesos PNB note Series of 1920. This note is more than 89 years. This note shows the portrait of General Lawton at the left. This is with a green tint. According to Neil Shafer there are 400,000 notes printed between September 25, 1920-Feb 25, 1921. This belongs to the series ranging from A1A-A400000A. This note was signed by S. Mercado and V. Concepcion.

20 Pesos PNB 1937

This is a 20 pesos PNB note Series of 1937. This note is more than 74 years. This note shows the portrait of Representative William A. Jones,centered. According to Neil Shafer there were 50,000 notes printed last December 7, 1937. This belongs to the series ranging from E1E-E50000E. This note was signed by F.P. Paterno and Jose Yulo.

20 Pesos PNB 1921

This twenty pesos PNB banknotes, Series of 1921.It shows the portrait of William A. Jones.He is responsible for the legislation authorizing the establishment of the Philippine National Bank

REVERSE -the coat of arms


According to Neil Shafer,  A Guide Book of PHILIPPINE PAPER MONEY,1964,  there were 500,000 issued. The Serial Numbers range from B1B-B500000B. It was signed by S. Mercado as Cashier and Miguel Unson as President.
